Devin Thomas WR 6'2 216 Michigan St. 4.40

Thomas began his career at Coffeyville Community College, hauling in 33 passes for 674 yards and five touchdowns as a redshirt freshman in 2005. He then moved on to Michigan St, where he did not make much of an impact in 2006. Thomas blew up in 2007, catching 79 passes for 1,260 yards and eight touchdowns.

Thomas has everything you look for in a WR. He has good size, and is built very well. He has the strength and the bulk to cross the middle of the field and take a hit while holding on to the football. He combines that physical style of play with excellent athleticism and the speed to outrun defensive backs. His combination of speed and power make him tough to bring down in the open field and he is a guy that can break off big plays on a consistent basis.

The whole one hit wonder tag is going to follow Thomas until he proves himself in the NFL. His production was non existent until his final season. He will need some time to refine his receiving skills though, as he relied on his natural gifts last season.

Thomas is the complete package at WR and has the talent to be a pro bowler in the NFL. If he puts in the work and his team is patient, he could really blossom and develop into a go to receiver in the NFL. His big year and big post season could make him the top receiver selected in April.
