Source confirms Marshawn has agreed to terms. Deal is contingent on a physical. Lynch is expected in Alameda today to check that box

Lynch trade swap of 2018 picks, SEA gets OAK 5/OAK get SEA 6. Part of thinking is while Raiders still in Oakland, bring in a veryyyy popular Oakland-area dude

2 2nd and 2 3rd round picks to draft all defense

You always want to trade up EA. Why the change?
He's not EA that's why.

I am excited about this move personally. It's an awesome business decision from Reggie/Mark to get him to keep Oakland fans excited about this year. I still think he has some gas left and it's not like we will be feeding him the ball 25+ times a game. I expect him to gt 6-8 touches a game, with him being our primary pass-blocking back.

Does anyone have any stat predictions on how he will perform? He is 30 and hasn't played in a year, but he is also surrounded by the best passing game and O-line he has ever had as well.

Glad it's finally done.

Happy with the move. Offense looks very good going into next season; well-rounded and should be able to pass or run when we want or need to.

He'll easily get over 10 touches a game

Just having him in the lineup on every snap within the 20 yard line gives us a huge redzone improvement from last year. And last year we were one of the best redzone teams. I would expect Carr's passing TD's to get a little bit easier.

Make defenses use an extra man in the box and send cook out. A fast TE and bruser RB should give our offense a new dynamic

Excellent news. With Owawale as well as Richard and Washington, it should mean we have no need to draft a running back at all. One more pick to use towards a defensive starter and depth in areas where we are currently thin. Can't see us going TE either so really only possible offensive picks would be oline or WR so looking like at least 5 picks on defense.

Yeah with 7 total picks, 5 on D and 1 WR and OL seems like a solid distribution to me. We could use a developmental WR in the mid-late rounds.

Multiply 130's by 16 and get back to me about rushing over 3000 yards

it will never be over 3000 yards lol, i know the math and just stating the facts that we ran 120.1 yards last year and proabably get bit better this year by running extra 10 more yards

'11: 22
'10: 27
'09: 24

OAK '16: 5th

I'm trying to keep my hopes from getting too high but stuff like this is ruining my efforts to temper my expectations.

I hope we just bulldoze teams next year and all 3 backs gain 1K yards!

we're going to run over 3000 total rushing yards? that's like 187.5 yards a game

second, you need to read the previous posts what that poster HOPE the raiders will run over 3000 rushing yards by having 3 running backs get 1000 yards lol

and i see that you edit my posts in quote with a period, not a question mark

Do you? You said we're going to run over 3000 total rushing yards and run around 130's rushing yards a game. If you know the math, I'm positive you got an F in that subject in school.
